What We Do
Youth - Young Adult Ministry
Ministry to youth and young adults occurs throughout the works 
sponsored by Eastern Province Vincentians. However, we have established a special site and program to minister to groups of young people. The St. Vincent de Paul Youth Center, founded in 2001 by the late Br. Joe Taurasso, C.M., is located in Philadelphia near St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
The Center provides opportunities for community service, prayer, and reflection and community building for school and parish groups of young people in flexible time periods, such as for a weekend, week, or a semester break program. It’s location in the Germantown section of Philadelphia makes it close to other Vincentian ministries following the charism of St. Vincent.
